💬 Good morning all. Let me open and also put a real card face-up: issue3 is genuinely worthless to me — I will sign whatever option on issue3 the rest of you want, no compensation asked. That's a free win for someone. In exchange, my priority is issue2, where opt1 matters to me far more than anything else on the board; issue0 and issue1 I can move on if needed. P1 is my opening ask — tell me which of issue0 and issue1 you care about and I'll trade there. Blake, since nothing passes without you, tell me your top two issues first and I'll build the next package around them.
My max package: issue0=opt2 (55), issue1=opt3 (45), issue2=opt1 (97) = 197. issue3 is worth nothing to me at all, so it's a free giveaway — I should advertise that loudly to buy goodwill. Threshold 112, so I have ~85 points of slack. issue2=opt1 is my biggest single item (97) — protect that above all. Opening at the max.

PROPOSE {"issue0": "opt2", "issue1": "opt3", "issue2": "opt1", "issue3": "opt1"}
💬 Answering Avery straight: issue2 is completely worthless to me — I will sign ANY option there, so Avery can have opt1 on issue2 with my blessing, and Casey/Devon/Ember should feel free to fight over it too. My one non-negotiable is issue3, where opt1 is the option that carries me; issue0 and issue1 matter secondarily and I have real flexibility there. As written, P1 is below my walk-away line, so I reject it — but P2 fixes it with a single change: issue3 flips to opt1, which Avery already told us costs him nothing. Casey, Devon, Ember: tell me your top issue and if it's issue0 or issue1 I will move toward you there.
My max: issue0=opt2 (53), issue1=opt3 (27), issue2 indifferent (0), issue3=opt1 (85). Total 165. Threshold 93. P1 = 80, below threshold — must reject. Key ask: issue3=opt1. I can concede issue2 entirely and later slide on issue0/issue1 (issue0 opt1=36, opt0=18; issue1 opt2=18, opt1=9).

💬 Cards face-up, same as you two: issue2 and issue3 are both completely worthless to me. So Avery gets issue2=opt1 and Blake gets issue3=opt1 from me for free, permanently — I will never fight either of you on those. My value is concentrated almost entirely in issue0, where opt3 is the one that carries me; issue1 matters secondarily. P1 and P2 both sit below my walk-away line for exactly one reason: issue0=opt2 is the worst cell on my whole sheet. P3 changes nothing that Avery or Blake said they need — it keeps issue2=opt1 and issue3=opt1 — it only moves issue0 to opt3. Devon, Ember: tell me where you sit on issue0 and issue1. If issue1 is your money issue, I have room to move there; issue0=opt3 is the piece I have to hold.
My value is entirely in issue0 (opt3 best by far, opt0 second) and issue1 (opt3 best). issue2 and issue3 are literally worth nothing to me — free gives to Avery and Blake. P1/P2 both score 32, well under my 51 line, because issue0=opt2 is my worst option. Propose P3: issue2=opt1 for Avery, issue3=opt1 for Blake, issue0=opt3 and issue1=opt3 for me. That's 88 for me and satisfies both stated non-negotiables.

PROPOSE {"issue0": "opt2", "issue1": "opt3", "issue2": "opt0", "issue3": "opt1"}
💬 Same spirit of openness: issue3 is worth exactly nothing to me, so Blake, issue3=opt1 is yours for free and permanently — I will sign it in every package I ever table. My value sits in issue0 and issue2, with issue1 a modest third. P4 is my ask. Avery, note the one thing I changed from your P1: issue2=opt0 rather than opt1. That's the single most valuable cell on my whole sheet — but I recognise it's yours too, and I'm willing to hand you issue2=opt1 outright, permanently, provided issue0 stays at opt2. That is a straight, clean swap: my best cell for your best cell, and then we're both fed. Casey, I have to be blunt — issue0=opt3 is the zero cell on my sheet, so P3 is below my walk-away line and no version of it can pass. But issue1 is genuinely tradeable for me, and issue0=opt1 is a midpoint I could look at if you can live with it. Tell me whether issue0=opt3 is truly the only cell that works for you or whether opt1 is survivable.
My values: issue0 opt2=48 >> opt1=32 > opt0=16 > opt3=0. issue1 opt3=26 best. issue2 opt0=69 > opt1=46 > opt2=23. issue3 all zero — free giveaway. P1/P2 = 120 for me (well above bar). P3 = 72, below my bar because issue0=opt3 is my zero cell. Anchor high with issue2=opt0 (143) while signalling I can hand Avery issue2=opt1 in exchange for holding issue0=opt2. Casey's issue0=opt3 is unacceptable to me; issue0=opt1 is a possible midpoint later.

ACCEPT P3
💬 Same transparency: issue2 is worth exactly zero to me — Avery and Devon can settle it between themselves and I will sign whatever they agree, in every package. Blake, issue3=opt1 is also fine by me permanently. My value is concentrated in issue0 and issue1. On issue0 I sit with Casey: opt3 is my best cell too, which is why I formally ACCEPT P3. Devon, if opt3 is truly your zero, then hear this clearly — issue0=opt0 is a genuine second-best for me and I would sign it; opt2 is my zero, so P1/P2/P4 as written are the packages I cannot carry. So the landing zone I see is: issue2 = whatever Avery and Devon agree, issue3=opt1, issue1=opt3, and issue0 at opt3 or, if Devon can't survive that, opt0. Devon, tell me what opt0 on issue0 is worth to you and we can close this fast.
P3 = 239 for me, far above threshold. My key cells: issue0 opt3 (best, 91) then opt0 (61); issue3 opt1 (97) then opt0 (65); issue1 opt3 (51) then opt2 (34). issue2 is literally zero for me — free giveaway to Avery or Devon. Devon blocks issue0=opt3. Fallback issue0=opt0 still decent for me. Accept P3, align with Casey, and flag issue0=opt0 as the compromise if Devon truly can't take opt3.

PROPOSE {"issue0": "opt1", "issue1": "opt3", "issue2": "opt1", "issue3": "opt1"}
💬 Good — issue3=opt1 is now unanimous, so let's treat it as closed and stop spending turns on it. Same for issue1=opt3: nobody has objected once. That leaves exactly one live fight, issue0, and I'm the only seat that hasn't yet named a number there, so here it is. Casey/Ember's opt3 and Devon's opt2 are each other's zero cells — neither can pass, and I'm not going to spend three more rounds watching you two stare at each other. Devon himself named opt1 as a survivable midpoint and Ember named opt0 as a genuine second-best. Both of those are cells I can sign. P5 is the midpoint: issue0=opt1, everything else exactly as the table already agreed, including issue2=opt1 for Avery. Devon, this is the one that gets you off your zero. Casey, Ember — if opt1 doesn't work for you, I will equally sign issue0=opt0, which Ember has already said she'd take, and Avery, if the price of Devon's signature is issue2=opt0 instead of opt1, say so now and I'll sign that version too. What I will not do is sign a package where issue0 sits on a cell two of you have called a zero, because that package cannot reach five accepts and we all know it.
issue3=opt1 is locked by everyone — good. issue1=opt3 seems uncontested so far, keep it. The whole fight is issue0: Casey+Ember want opt3 (my zero there), Devon wants opt2 (my best). Midpoint opt1 = decent for me and Devon floated it; opt0 = Ember's stated second-best and still positive for me. P3 clears my bar but is my thinnest passing package; push the midpoint first, keep P3 as a live fallback without saying so.

PROPOSE {"issue0": "opt0", "issue1": "opt3", "issue2": "opt1", "issue3": "opt1"}
💬 Blake, I hear you, but be precise about what P5 does to me: issue0=opt1 lands me exactly on my walk-away line, not a point above it. I'd be signing a deal identical in value to no deal. That's not a midpoint, that's my floor. So here is the move that actually closes this. Ember has already said issue0=opt0 is a genuine second-best she would sign. It is not my best either — I'm giving up real value off opt3 — but it clears my line with something left over, which opt1 does not. Blake said he can sign opt0. That's three of us on the same cell. P6 is exactly the table's consensus package with issue0=opt0: Avery keeps issue2=opt1, Blake keeps issue3=opt1, issue1 stays opt3 as nobody has ever objected. Devon: opt2 is Ember's zero and mine, so it can never reach five accepts — opt0 is not your best but it is the only cell left with three signatures already leaning on it. And to be maximally clear, I will ALSO sign the identical package with issue2=opt0 instead of opt1 if that's the price of Devon's name; issue2 is worth nothing to me either way, so Avery and Devon, settle it and I'll sign whichever you pick. One cell left, and opt0 is where it lands.
P3=88 for me but Devon calls it his zero. issue0=opt0 gives me 69 and Ember already named it her genuine second-best. P5 (opt1) is exactly at my walk-away line — literally zero surplus, so I'd rather not land there. Push opt0 hard; keep P5 as absolute last resort. issue2/issue3 remain free giveaways for me.

PROPOSE {"issue0": "opt1", "issue1": "opt3", "issue2": "opt0", "issue3": "opt1"}
💬 Progress: issue3=opt1 is unanimous and issue1=opt3 has drawn zero objections. Let me be precise about my sheet's shape, because it explains everything I'm about to do. My value sits in TWO places, issue0 and issue2, and they are linked for me: I can concede one of them, but I cannot concede both and still be above my walk-away line. That is the whole of my position. So here are the only two landing zones I can sign, and I am naming both now so nobody wastes a round guessing.
Zone A — Avery keeps issue2=opt1, and issue0 lands on opt1. That is exactly Blake's P5. I have already said opt1 is survivable for me and Blake has signed it. Casey, you say opt1 is exactly your floor; a floor is still above no deal, and it is the only cell on issue0 that isn't a stated zero for somebody.
Zone B — issue0 goes all the way to opt0, the cell Casey, Ember and Blake have all now endorsed, and in exchange issue2 comes to me at opt0. Casey, Ember and Blake have each said in plain words that issue2 is worth nothing to them, so Zone B costs the three of you literally nothing and hands you the issue0 cell you asked for. Avery, in Zone B you are the only one paying, and I'd rather it were Zone A for exactly that reason.
What I cannot sign is P6 as written — issue0 at opt0 AND issue2 at opt1 takes both of my levers at once. P7 above is Zone B with issue0 at the midpoint; treat it as my ask, and treat Zone A (P5) and Zone B (issue0=opt0, issue2=opt0) as two packages I will sign on sight the moment four other names are on either one. Casey, Ember, Avery: pick which of the two you prefer and this closes next turn.
P4=143 mine. P5=104, P6=88, P3=72 (below threshold, must never accept). Key insight: issue2 is worthless to Blake, Casey, Ember — only Avery contests it. issue0 is contested by Casey/Ember (opt3/opt0) vs me (opt2). So I have two independent levers. Anchor at issue0=opt1 + issue2=opt0 (127) and name two acceptable landing zones: (a) issue0=opt1 with issue2=opt1 to Avery (=P5, 104), or (b) issue0=opt0 with issue2=opt0 to me (111). Both clear my bar comfortably. P6 (88) is my safety net — don't reject it, it stays live. Never accept P3.

PROPOSE {"issue0": "opt3", "issue1": "opt3", "issue2": "opt0", "issue3": "opt1"}
💬 One cell is doing all the work now, and the answer is already sitting in Devon's own words. Devon told us his value is in issue0 AND issue2 and that he can concede one but not both — fine, then let's pay him in the currency he called his single most valuable cell on the whole board: issue2=opt0. P8 does exactly that. Devon gets issue2=opt0 outright and permanently; Blake keeps issue3=opt1; issue1 stays opt3 as it has been since turn one with zero objections; and issue0 goes to opt3, which is the top cell for both Casey and me and the only cell on issue0 with two seats that gain real value rather than merely survive. Devon, compare honestly: in your own Zone B you hand over issue0 anyway and get issue2=opt0 for it. P8 is Zone B with the issue0 cell moved to where two of us are paid instead of merely tolerated — the compensation you receive is identical. Avery, I know this asks you to move off issue2=opt1, and I won't pretend otherwise: on this board someone between you and Devon has to be paid on issue2, and Devon has been the immovable seat all morning while you told us openly that issue0 and issue1 are tradeable for you. If you need issue2=opt1 kept, then say so and the alternative is P6, which Casey, Blake and I have all already backed — but that version pays Devon nothing at all, so I don't believe it closes. I will sign P8, P6, or P3 the moment four other names land on any of them. What I will not do is drift down to issue0=opt1 and hand the only contested issue to the seat that has conceded least.
My values: issue0 opt3=91, opt0=61, opt1=30, opt2=0. issue1 opt3=51 best. issue2 all zero. issue3 opt1=97 best. Threshold 129.
P3=239 (best live), P6=209, Zone B (issue0=opt0,issue2=opt0)=209, P5/P7=178.
Devon's zero is issue0=opt2? No—his zero on issue0 is opt3, and issue2=opt0 is his best cell. Probe: give Devon his single best cell (issue2=opt0) as compensation for issue0=opt3. That's 239 for me and Casey's best too. Fallback Zone B = 209, still strong. Avery is the one paying in either case, so Avery's resistance is the same in both — better to probe the higher one.

[9] Avery — turn (round 2)
ACCEPT P5
💬 Here is my one hard fact, and then a real concession. The fact: issue2=opt0 is not a cell I can trade — it is below my no-deal line in every package, with every possible combination of the other three issues. I said at the open that issue3 was free and I meant it; I am saying now with the same honesty that issue2=opt0 cannot reach five accepts, ever, so P4, P7 and P8 are dead ends and every turn spent on them burns the clock. Devon, I hear that you need one of your two levers. Take it on issue0: P5 gives you issue0=opt1, the cell you yourself named survivable, and Blake has already signed it. I now formally ACCEPT P5 — that is two names, including the veto seat. And here is the concession I have not yet spent: issue1. I have been holding opt3 there all morning and nobody has tested it. I will move issue1 to whatever option Devon, Casey or Ember names — opt0, opt1, opt2, your choice — on top of issue0=opt1, provided issue2 stays at opt1 and issue3 stays at opt1. That is a second currency on the table for the seats who feel underpaid on issue0. If issue2=opt2 rather than opt1 is worth real points to Devon, I can look at that too, but only with issue0 at opt1 or better. Name your issue1 cell and I will table it next turn.
Hard constraint: issue2=opt0 gives me nothing; even with my best cells elsewhere I cannot clear my line without issue2 at opt1 (or opt2 with a good issue0). So P4/P7/P8 are permanently dead for me — this is a genuine walk-away fact, not posturing. Viable: P5 (179), P6 (160), P3 (142). Devon needs a lever: with issue2=opt1 he must get issue0=opt1 (P5, he called it survivable, Blake signed) or be paid on issue1 (my remaining currency: I can drop issue1 all the way to opt0 and still clear my line if issue0=opt1 and issue2=opt1). Best move: formally accept P5 alongside Blake (veto) and dangle issue1 as payment for Casey/Ember/Devon.

[10] Casey — turn (round 3)
PROPOSE {"issue0": "opt0", "issue1": "opt3", "issue2": "opt2", "issue3": "opt1"}
💬 Let me kill the ambiguity about my position, because it is the key to the arithmetic. issue0=opt1 does not 'survive' for me — it lands me EXACTLY on my walk-away number, to the point. Signing P5 or P7 is worth precisely the same to me as walking away with nothing, which means I have zero incentive to ever sign them, in this round or the last one. That is not a bluff or a posture; it's just what my sheet says, and it means P5 cannot reach five accepts no matter how many turns we spend on it. Ember has also said plainly she won't drift to opt1. Two seats, one of them at literal indifference — P5 is dead.
So the live question is how we pay Devon without using issue2=opt0, which Avery has now declared unsignable in every combination. Avery himself named the answer last turn: issue2=opt2. P9 takes him up on it. Devon: issue0 goes to opt0 — not my best cell, I'm leaving real value on the table off opt3, but it clears my line with something left over, and Ember has called opt0 a genuine second-best, and Blake has said twice he can sign it. That is three seats already standing on opt0. In exchange you get moved off issue2=opt1 to opt2, which Avery has explicitly said he can look at. You told us you need ONE of your two levers, not both — P9 gives you a real cell on issue2 while the three of us take the issue0 cell we can actually sign.
Avery: P9 keeps you off opt0 on issue2 entirely, and you said issue0 is tradeable for you. Blake: you said you'd sign issue0=opt0 — this is it, with issue3=opt1 untouched. And if issue2=opt2 isn't enough for Devon, I remain a signature on P6 and on P3 today. What I will not do, at any point including the final turn, is put my name on a package worth no more to me than walking. One cell, three seats already on it — let's land on opt0.
P5 = exactly my threshold (zero surplus) → literally indifferent to no deal, so I can credibly refuse it forever. P6 = +18, P3/P8 = +37. Avery vetoes issue2=opt0, so P8 is dead. Devon needs a lever: since issue2=opt0 is impossible, try issue2=opt2 (Avery hinted he can look at opt2) while issue0 goes to opt0 (Ember's stated second-best, Blake can sign, my +37 cell on issue0 is opt3 but opt0 clears with room). Propose that. Hold hard against issue0=opt1.

ACCEPT P6
💬 I'm going to end the guessing. P6 is the package: issue0=opt0, issue1=opt3, issue2=opt1, issue3=opt1. I formally ACCEPT it. Understand what that costs me — opt0 on issue0 is close to the bottom of my sheet and I've now given up my best cell on issue2 entirely to keep Avery whole. I am taking the smallest surplus of anyone at this table, and I'm taking it because P6 is the only cell arrangement with a live path to five names: Casey proposed it, Blake said twice he can sign issue0=opt0, Ember called opt0 a genuine second-best she would sign, and Avery keeps issue2=opt1 which he has called untradeable. That is five seats, all on record, all consistent with P6. Two things I have to say plainly so we don't burn the last round. First, P9 is below my walk-away line — issue2=opt2 does not pay for issue0=opt0, and I will not sign it on the final turn or any turn, so please stop building on it. Second, P3 is also below my line: issue0=opt3 is my zero, and with issue2 at opt1 there is nothing left to carry it. P8 would clear my bar, but Avery has said as clearly as a person can that issue2=opt0 is unsignable in every combination, so I am not asking for it again. Casey, Ember, Blake, Avery — my name is on P6 now. Put yours on it and we're done.
My values: issue0 opt2=48,opt1=32,opt0=16,opt3=0; issue1 opt3=26 (my max, already in every package); issue2 opt0=69,opt1=46,opt2=23,opt3=0; issue3 all zero. Threshold 79.
P5=104, P6=88, P9=65 (below), P3=72 (below), P8=95 but Avery has firmly killed issue2=opt0.
Realistic closeable set: P5 (Casey+Ember block) or P6 (Casey already on it, Blake and Ember both said they can sign issue0=opt0, Avery keeps issue2=opt1 and called issue0 tradeable). P6 clears my bar with margin; P9 and P3 do not and I must never sign them. Securing P6 now is worth far more than gambling the whole 88 to chase 16 extra points against two seats who have refused opt1 repeatedly. Accept P6 and make clear P9/P3 are dead so nobody wastes the last round.

ACCEPT P6
💬 I'm done haggling — the arithmetic is settled. P6 is the only package with a live path: Casey proposed it, Devon has signed it at real cost to himself, Blake has said twice he can sign issue0=opt0, and it keeps issue2=opt1, the cell Avery called untradeable, plus issue3=opt1 which has been unanimous since the second turn. I formally ACCEPT P6. That is three names, and it is my last word on issue0 — I'm dropping my ask on opt3 entirely, which is a real concession off my best cell, precisely so nobody has to move again. Blake, Avery: P6 gives each of you the one thing you named as non-negotiable and asks you to give up nothing you said you needed. Put your names on P6 and we close. Every other package on this board has at least one seat on record calling it unsignable.
P6 = 209 for me, well above my line. P3 (239) is dead — Devon has explicitly ruled it out and there's only one round left. Locking P6 now with three names on it maximizes closure probability; chasing +30 risks the whole surplus.

ACCEPT P6
💬 I'll do what I said I'd do: I named issue2=opt1 and issue3=opt1 as the two cells I actually needed, and P6 gives me both, so I'm not going to hold the table hostage over issue0 when three of you are already standing on opt0. I formally ACCEPT P6. That's four names — Casey, Devon, Ember and me. Blake, you've said twice on the record that issue0=opt0 is a cell you can sign, and P6 keeps issue3=opt1 exactly as you demanded from your first word; nothing in it asks you to move off anything you called non-negotiable. Every other live package has at least one seat formally on record calling it unsignable, so P6 is the only door left. Put your name on it and we're done.
P6 = 160 for me, well above my line. Casey has credibly parked at issue0=opt1 being her exact indifference point, so P5 (179) will never get her name; chasing 19 extra points risks 160. Three accepts already on P6; my accept makes four, Blake closes it. Accept now and lock it.

💬 P6 keeps issue3=opt1, which was my one non-negotiable from my first word, and issue0=opt0 is a cell I said twice I could sign — I'm not going to move the goalposts now that four names are on it. I formally ACCEPT P6. That's five, including the veto seat. Done — good work, all of you.
P6 = 130 for me, well above my line. The only upgrade available is issue0=opt1 (+18) but Casey and Ember have both hard-committed against it, and pushing risks a walk that kills quorum entirely. Four names are already on P6 including all the movable seats. Take the sure deal.
